Biography
Polona Brooks grew up in a small mining town in Slovenia, called Idrija. Though a traditional mining town, Idrija highly emphasized education. She was accepted into its difficult gymnasium highschool program and graduated from there in 1992. She then moved to Liverpool, England living there for two years.
In 1994, she was accepted to the University of Ljubljana's school of Psychology in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 1998, she graduated in only four years, an accomplishment which normally takes five to six years to complete, but that was not her only accomplishment. She was in the top ten percent of her class, published three works, and presented one paper before the Congress of European Psychology Students.
She immigrated to the United States in 1999, and began attending the Univesity of Texas in Tyler in 2001. In 2005, she received her masters in Psychology from UT, Tyler. She now performs consulting for Brooks Law Firm.
